My friends' babies' names...

Last week I discover sumtin about my friends' babies' names... I have 3 friends with different names (of course la), Pn Nurhidayah Azmi, Pn Hasni Suhana Mat Hassan (both are my office mates) and Pn Norfaizah Othman (my old friend). What makes me want to write this entry is their names...

Hidayah's baby's name is Nurfatihah Batrisya... Sue's baby's name is Damia Nurfatihah and Faizah's baby's name is Damia Batrisya... hmmm, interesting rite... all of their names are related to each other... I haven't get the chance to see Faizah's baby yet... but I bet all of these 3 little girl are cute and adorable... (mana ada baby tak cute kan... they are all charming!!!) Sorry friends if I spelt your baby's name incorrectly... hehehe...

Anyway, I'm sure all of you are proud to be mothers now... Can't wait till I become one!!!

Down with LOVE!!! Ada je kot org yg buat macam ni... last week aku tgk muvi kat TV3 (kalau tak salah)... tajuk dia macam tajuk entry ni la... Kisah sorang pompuan yg tulis buku bertajuk 'Down with LOVE'... kekononnya tak nak jatuh cinta dgn lelaki la... aku tak tgk abis pun crite tu... Yg aku nak cakap ni pasal org yg tak percaya cinta (kononnye la)... Rasanya kalau aku cakap hati manusia ni boleh berubah mesti sume org setuju kan... berbalik pada 'Down with LOVE' tadi, masa sekolah dulu aku percaya korang2 sume mesti pernah ada kawan2 yg kata aku taknak bercinta la, anti lelaki la... tup tup tup... bila abis sekolah, org yg kata taknak bercinta, anti lelaki tu la yg kawin dulu... betul tak? Ada jugak yg memang sesungguhnya benci kat lelaki for certain reason... (penah jumpa tak lelaki yg anti pompuan?) Moral of the story, jgn cakap lepas... tu jugak pesan mak aku kat aku... mgkn jugak kita kena pegang pada 'bukan semua org sama'... kalau nak tolak cinta 100% mgkn mustahil la... mgkin jugak org yg anti lelaki/pompuan tu ada bad history dlm hidup dia sebelum ni... berbalik pada bukan sume org sama tu, personally i think it's not fair tu put the blame on anyone else just because you have had bad experience with someone elses before kan... paham tak ayat aku tu?

Dulu & Sekarang

Cakap tentang dulu dan sekarang... Masa tgh siap2 nak pegi keje pagi tadi aku terpikir pasal macamana org dulu berhubung antara satu sama lain... Maksud aku masa belum wujudnya telefon, telegram, perkataan short text messages (sms) pun belum wujud dsbnya... Terpikir pulak pasal org dulu2 yang pegi merantau tinggalkan mak, ayah, adik beradik, suami, isteri, anak2 dan yg sewaktu dgnnya... Kalau zaman teknologi macam hari mmg tak pelik la kalau kita dapat tau berita pasal kematian ke, org sakit ke... Sekelip mata je berita boleh sampai... Kat mana pun kita berada insyaallah org boleh kontek kan?

Katakan seorg anak yg belajar kat Kedah and one of the family members jatuh sakit atau meninggal dunia kat Johor... berita tu boleh sampai dalam masa beberapa saat je... tapi kalau zaman dulu, macamana diorg berhubung ek... Hmmm, I wonder... yg aku terpikir, seorg anak balik ke kg setelah merantau mesti terkejut bila ahli keluarga dia beritau one of the family members dah meninggal...

Hmm, untung jugak kita yang duduk kat zaman yg serba maju dan canggih ni... tapi aku pernah jugak dgr satu phrase yg berbunyi 'kufur nikmat'... kalau ada yg boleh tlg definisikan kufur nikmat tu sila la yek... jgn malu2... tu je untuk entry ni...

Semalam dalam berita ada kisah Imam Samudra yg dah kena hukum tembak... come to think of it, ada jugak untungnya org yg kena hukum bunuh dalam penjara ni... sebabnya dia ada peluang nak bertaubat... satu satunya org yang tau bila dia akan mati... at least dia sempat jugak mengucap sebelum org hukum dia (kalau Allah izinkan)... betul tak? ada jugak peluang diaorg ni nak beribadat sesungguhnya masa dalam penjara tu...

Aku pun tak sangka...

Bila nak mengimbas semula zaman masa remaja dulu kan, aku rasa mcm tak percaya je dgn apa yg jadi kat aku hari ni... i mean how do i manage to survive jadi 'org' sampai hari ni... looking at 13 years back (masa tu aku baru form two) rasanya masa tu agak nampak cerah lah jugak masa depan coz aku dok dalam kelas yg pertama dlm sekolah... and then bila naik form 4 amik science stream... kelas sains ada dua je masa tu...

then looking at my spm result, agk2 rasa gelap sikit la dunia... i manage to sit for exam untuk masuk maktab perguruan (zaman2 tu kalau dapat masuk maktab kira dah ok sgt la)... malangnya, exam kantoi... nak keje mak aku tak bagi... kata dia "ma tak suka la awak gi keje kedai2 ke, kilang ke, tgu la dulu..."... so tak keje la aku...

pastu dapat plak berita pasal form 6 kat sek aku tu... last day tarikh tutup aku dgn faizah pegi htr borang kat JPNP... akhirnya dapat masuk form six... rasa gelap lagi sekali sebab aku ni mmg type yg malas nak belajo dah... pastu dapat plak kelas sastera... kena amik ekonomi plak tu... satu hapah pun aku tak tau... but then, maybe my luck kot, malas2 aku dapat gak aku 4 prinsipal... cikgu pun nak pecaya taknak je aku dapat 4P... betul cikgu, saya tak tipu, ada dalam sijil...

pastu dapat plak masuk UKM... terperanjat beruk aku masa tu... sebab takde pun rasa ketokohan aku nak masuk belajar kat U... dah rezeki kan... bangga la jugak coz aku yg nampak cam takde masa depan yg cerah dah nampak masa depannya... hehehehe...

abis je belajar thn 2004, aku dok umah dalam sebulan dua... pastu tolong bapak kawan aku kat opis dia (makan gaji buta gak la sebab takde keje pun sebenarnya) tak sampai sebulan, aku dpt ofer kat KPTM... sampai la hari ni aku ngajar English kat KPTM ni...

sapa sangka, kita yang dulunya budak yg tak tau hala kemana, hari ni jadik 'org' jugak... kalau dulu org tgk aku selalu naik basikal jalan2 dgn kawan2 lepas abis sek, org mesti kata "asyik budak2 ni je aku nampak hari2, takde keje lain gamaknye" (agaknye la, mgkn org tak kata pun)... mak aku pun dulu selalu gak kata "awk ni tak lekat kat umah, berjaaaalan je..." tu la dia aku dulu2... tapi sekarang... Dalam beberapa hari ni aku selalu rasa tak sihat... sejak aku makan nasi lemak yg aku beli kat giant hari tu sampailah ke hari ni... mgkin aambal nasi lemak tu ada letak belacan kaw2 punye... lepas tu aku terus rasa gatal2, selsema, demam, batuk and starting from yesterday, aku tak dapat nak bau apa2 pun... takde deria bau... agak kurang and almost takde... deria rasa pun macam tu... aku makan n minum apa2 pun aku tak dapat rasa... aku boleh makan lada kecik selamaba je coz aku tak terasa sgt pun pedas dia... kalau la ada org boleh bagi jwpn tolong la ek... nak pegi klinik kat depan tu aku macam malas je, coz selalunya jwpn doc tu menyakitkan hati je pun...

Yesterday, Tini, Yanie, Jet, Seperul, Adi, my husband & I went to McD at TC for sahur. After that, Jet, Yanie & I start buat projek MEGA kitaorg for this fasting month... apa lagi, nak raya ni... kitaorg pakat2 nak buat kuih raya kat umah aku... and the result... terciptalah 4 jenis kuih raya for the day... honey cornflakes, choc cornflakes, biskut corflakes and kuih sugi... sume yg mudah nak dibuat dan tak cerewet... bnyk jugak la hasilnya... dalam tak larat aku tuh, berjaya jugak habiskan buat kuih... akhirnye, aku sakit pinggang dan tak larat nak gerak banyak2... padan muka aku... tapi best jugak la, daripada aku dok sorang2 kat umah time2 cuti, elok gak ada kengkawan untuk beraktiviti...

Yesterday, my hubby n I went back to Panching for breaking fast... later, we went back home n i felt so sleepy that i fell asleep as soon as i got into bed... it is a very tiring Ramadhan this year... lepas bukak pose je aku flat terus... n then i got into this strange dreams... guess what, i've been to the outer space last nite...hahaha... then back to the earth where everyone is bz to go for a vacation and menyebok at my house b4 their vacation... ntah apa2 ntah... my hubby said 'tu la, tido tak basuh kaki'... ye jugak lah kot...

juz read syokkahwin.com... about the meaning of names... mulanye baca nama2 anak2 artis kat malaysia ni, pastu the comments... well, banyak la benda yg pengomen2 ni komen... especially pasal nama2 anak artis malaysia yg bagi nama anak diaorg dgn nama omputih... personally i agree with some of the comments... Islam memang suh kita bagi nama yang baik2 for our baby(s)... tp takde pulak pernah dgr Islam suh bagi nama anak2 dalam bhs arab specifically... so, as long as the name(s) ada maksud yang baik, i think there's no harm in giving names in watever languages yg ada dlm dunia ni kan?(correct me if i'm wrong)... org2 islam kat cina pun ada nama diaorg sendiri (dalam bahasa cina of coz) tapi ada je maksud dalam islam kan? so, as long as nama yang kita bagi ada maksud yang baik, dan kita panggil anak2 tu dgn nama yg ada maksud tu, insyaallah anak tu akan jadi baik... kalau bagi nama anak dgn maksud yg baik tp dok maki2 dia, sama gak jadi tak baiknya kan... ini pun peringatan for me, myself and I... sblm terlupa, klu la kita lahir dulu terus boleh cakap mesti kita nak pilih nama sendiri kan... so, thanx to our mum and dad yang susah2 pikir nama and didik kita sampai kita jadi 'orang' sekarang ni... til i write again... daaa...

it's makan time... Yesterday we (epsilonians) decided to buat makan2 kat opis ni... last day boleh makan siang kat opis sebelum fasting month ni kan... the time now is 4.20 pm... ada lagi fud yg belum habis... menu hari ini dan tuan punya menu adalah seperti di bawah:

Mommy's story

Hari ni lunch kat Ani Sup Utara kat indra mahkota... aku makan mee hoon sup ayam dgn air oren... Din makan mee hoon sup daging n milo ais... and the best part is, kitaorang (aku, Din, Tini, Jet n Bulat) pegi ke secret recipe borong almost semua jenis kek yg ada... kua3... gila kan... yang paling gila aku la... bulan ni (sejak pregnant ni) makin menjadi jadi selera makan aku ni ha... aku dah makan almost semua jenis fast food yang ada kat kuantan ni... Mc D, KFC (ntah berapa kali pun aku tak ingat), pizza hut, rasa mas, dan yang paling latest secret recipe la... semua benda aku pulun... aku pegi santai last monday, semalam pegi sara thai kitchen, lepas tu pegi pulak kat jelita beli satay... gila kan... tapi takdela aku melantak banyak sgt pun... cuma rasa nak makan tu yang menjadi jadi... tapi dah makan mcm2 benda pun pening kepala ni ttp tak hilang... juz wait till i get better...

Talking about the world is round... Macam roda... berpusing pusing... there will be ups and downs... mungkin ada benda yang akan berbalik semula kat kita... teringat one of my cousins once said "dulu kan, aku pun macam ko jugak... pakaian ikut suka asal selesa"... (dia cakap ni masa nampak aku pakai sleeveless jemur kain kat umah... sambung dia lagi "sekarang ni bila tgk org pakai seksi2 ni rasa macam malu pulak, tapi dulu aku pun macam tu jugak"... ini yang buat diriku ini pikir betul jugak apa yang dia cakap tu... once we grow old, things changes... dulu pun aku ada gak lepak2 tepi jalan, tapi sekarang kalau tgk budak2 bersidai tepi jalan terpikir gak dek kepala aku ni, apalah pekdahnya diaorang melepak lepak ni... padahal dulu aku pun sama... ntah lebih pun kot.. hehehe... maybe one day when these kids grow old, diaorang pun akan rasa macam apa yg aku rasa kot... itulah yang dikatakan the world is round... moral of the story nye... jgn dok kata org sgt, nanti patah balik kat kita... (sometimes kita tak sedar yang kita pun buat benda ni... ku jua begitu) that's all folks...

unforgettable memories...

Sitting in the office... I'm having a headache rite now... My mother in law said it is normal during early pregnancies... tapi bukan nak crite pasal pregnancy, what come across my mind juz now is about my days in UKM... friends, lecturers, and all those sweet memories... remembering my classmates, i dreamt about Kath n Moon last night... rasa macam real je... well, i do miss these two chinese girl... and all of my classmates... we went for movies together, makan2... still remember Hallie yang suka makan pedas sampaikan melimpah ruah sambal kat dalam pinggan roti canai dia... hehehe... amoi yang sorang ni memang suka makan pedas... (we share the same birthdate)... well, i still remember the time masa pegi Genting for the first time with UKM frenz... me an Dyla were the only malay girls masa tu... we had a lot of fun that weekend... banyak sgt benda kalau nak cerita zaman study dulu... so, to be continued...

Just a thought...

This is just a thought for the moment... a blog assignment was given to my public speaking students last few weeks... so i thought that i would write mine too now... sikit je laaa... TITLE: Human Cloning... having a thought of human cloning... well, there's a pros and cons... most likely the bad sides are too many to be told... for the time being, i'm thinking of getting my self a clone, (or clones!!! hehehe!!!) so that i can instruct them to do half of my work while i can be a bit more relax... too ambitious huh!!! or am i actually need A ROBOT? whatever... having the thought that i can have someone to help me to organize my days is like going up to the cloud 9!!! hihihi.. in my dreams eh...
